From the initial enquiry, a consultation meeting will be arranged with you.  The aim of this meeting is to discuss your ideas and to obtain a detailed client brief to include:

• How you intend to use the garden;
• The style of garden you hope to achieve;
• Particular features you would like to include;
• The type of plants, trees and hedging that you might want to include;
• Budget.

We will undertake a detailed survey of the site taking into account the dimensions of the garden, boundaries and boundary type, neighbouring properties, gradients, aspect, current garden features (lawns, borders, decking, patios, garden buildings etc.), existing trees and plants and soil conditions.  We will ask permission at this stage for the use of photographs of the existing garden to help in the design process.

We will then prepare some initial drawings and plans based upon the information gathered.  A second meeting is then often arranged to discuss the plans and make any changes that are necessary.  A quotation is then provided to carry out the construction of your new garden.

We undertake work in the following areas:

Our gardens are designed and constructed with features to promote sustainability and healthy living and facilitate schools in achieving the DCSF Teaching Award for Sustainable Schools.

In many projects it is hoped that wildlife can be attracted into the garden or school ground so that it may be observed and studied by children.  We seek to use as many varied and interesting natural materials as possible to stimulate the senses of those using the outdoor space, wherever possible using sustainable and recycled materials.
